John Carey’s famous dog show from the Beaufort Street Festival is coming to the Mount Hawthorn Streets and Lanes Festival on Sunday May 7, and John says “Let your dogs out!”.

“The competition is so much fun; we are expecting about 100 dogs to enter,” said John, a dog lover who will have his loyal dog Chewie by his side onstage.

Enter your pooch for one of the four categories below. Each category winner will win a vouchers courtesy of Oxford Street’s PET’s MEAT SUPPLIERS.

Best Dressed – Prize $150 voucher
Ugliest Dog – Prize $100 voucher
Cutest Dog – Prize $50 voucher
General Category – $50 voucher

Enter online now to qualify for the early bird registration prize of a Pet’s Meat Supply Doggie Hamper (closing April 30), or you can still enter your pooch on the day (at the Pet Zone on Oxford Street by 3pm).

The competition will take place on the Hawaiian Community Main stage (on the corner of Flinders Street and Scarborough Beach Road), running from 4pm.
